Matt's Single 30 Tube Set

My friend Matt from West Virginia is making sets as fast as I am and they really look great. Born in 1989 it didn't take him long to grasp the ideas of building old type radios.

Regenerative radio using a single #30 tube. This is Matt's premier radio. Just like they used to build them in the old days.

Matt's Crystal Sets

Matt's Old Time Crystal Radios. Most of the parts are from the old days in his first set. The second has a homemade litz spider coil. This is like my #36 set.

Two tube 6AU6 - 6FM7

Here is Matt's two tube radio. It has a 6AU6 as an untuned rf amp and a 6FM7 detector and audio amp. He built neatly on a breadboard. The 6FM7 is a tv tube but works fine in a radio too.

All Wave Doerle Style

Here is Matt's two tube all wave set. It uses a pair of 01A's and plug in coils. The additional tuning capacitor is for a bandspread control.
